Came in Saturday afternoon for the first time after reading some reviews online and heard was the place to stop. I will say this the place blew it out the water the pizza was amazing. We got three different 12-in pies for five people and it was the right amount of food. The barbecue was our favorite. We also got the traditional pepperoni and buffalo chicken which was good as well. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the mood for some pizza and we will definitely be coming back.
Good atmosphere and obviously fresh ingredients. We had the garlic cheese bread and it was awesome, flavorful and fresh, the tomato sauce/marinara it was served with was a little underwhelming but the appetizer was good. The margherita pizza was very very fresh and the crust is incredible, but the pizza was a little bland and heavily over-sauced in my opinion. My favorite part of the pizza was the crust. Service was good and prices seemed fair in my opinion but I would advise going in groups of more than two to optimize the value.
Been a while since I've ate there with my niece and great nephew for dinner back in fall 2018. I came to Post Office Pies for lunch since I work at Avondale Branch Library... I ordered the small garden salad with red wine vinaigrette as an appetizer and the meatball sandwich with marinara sauce on the side with iced sweet tea. The meatballs are fresh. Enjoyed my lunch there. Will definitely come back if I have a craving for pizza....
