Standard for the brand. Staff weren't up to par. Waited for 5 mins to order while 3 staff members played/laughed at their phones. Loved the inside of the location.
There isn’t a Portillo’s where I live so anytime I get the chance to go to one I make it happen! Always at least order the Italian beef and the Chicago dog. I’ve been to many locations and this one isn’t any different. Always clean, nice staff and the food is great. Can’t go wrong with some Portillo’s
I'm not sure why some people get so excited about this place. The beef sandwich was tasteless and looked to be largely organ meat and scraps, not high quality beef. We both ordered the sandwiches (one beef, one sausage) dipped in gravy and it showed on the receipt, yet mine was gravyless. I went up to tell them and they gave me 2 tubs of gravy, not a new sandwich that was dipped. Why do people get excited about bland, low quality food just because it's "Chicago style"? I'm guessing the same people that put their happiness in the hands of the Bears or Cubs (or any sports team).
