You gotta stop here and get your self a "combo". If in the area and from else where's, stop in and ask for a "combo". I do every time in the Chi area. Love it.
An iconic place to try Chicago-style hotdogs. Very saucy and messy but very good. You order cafeteria style and pick up and sit anywhere you like. Tried the Maxwell street Polish which was good but not memorable. The fries were nothing special. Very filling. Overall worth a try but not repeat. High noon and busy AF why?! Because it is damn good and consistent. Come on by and enjoy most of what Chicagoland food has to offer in one location. Portillo’s restaurants are consistently a great dining experience, also the drive throughs are always fast. Get in here!!
