Portillo's Hot Dogs

Couldn’t have been a better visit. I’d been to a location in Indiana before so I was familiar with the food and the concept. Order process was easy, though it would have been really nice to see my customizations on the screen that faces me. Food came out quick. The table was a little dirty but we survived. I ordered a single cheeseburger with fries and a drink, everything tasted great. They also had a lovely lady named Dell who took care of everyone in the dining room. Dell was like a best friend to me in the dining room during my visit. She treated me like I was a family member and made me feel truly welcomed. I’d love to come back!

I have been in the drive thru of this location many times. This was my first trip inside. I'm not sure after seeing the condition of the restaurant I will eat there again. We went Saturday night at 8 pm. Every booth and most tables were dirty had not been wiped down at all there was food and trash on the floors. Much of the staff was standing around. The young man that took our order was friendly but it was mostly empty so not crowded. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger which I've had many times. It had no condiments and the lettuce was very dark and wilted. My iced tea had no ice. My husband enjoyed his meal. The restroom was very messy I notified a staff member but she just shrugged and walked away. Super disappointed.

This was a delightful experience. The memorabilia alone was worth the trip! The staff were all warm and welcoming and the food was delicious! My only critique would be the bathrooms need to be remodeled. They were not the worst but not desirable. … More
