Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Food is awful as of late. Its like they don't even care what they're bagging up and handing to you taste like. Popeyes is not supposed to be this bland. If it actually tasted like it should, I'd over look the lukewarm temps. Even the red beans and rice is not seasoned. I'll never forget going to an actual Popeye's in Louisiana...it was so good, hot and fresh I almost cried. This location is a disgrace.

Sadly there is a strong language barrier for English speaking customers. Orders are almost always a mix of what you asked for with things you didn't. Pay attention to the price for guidance on them having your order correct. This trip I ordered nuggets meal with red beans and rice.. should have been around $13, they said my total was over 20, and again I knew there was a mixup. The last 3 times I visited this location I noticed this happening to customers in front and behind me, as well as my own orders. I think they need to move the lady that takes orders to the kitchen side of the store. She is nice, and very friendly but is quite hard of hearing and really is not able to understand English or nuances like accents, special requests etc. This is really just an inconvenience and I don't wish her bad, but it gets really frustrating for folks on a limited time lunch break to waste most of it trying to get the order fixed after already waiting for it to be ready. Manager could not articulate that there was no walk in orders to order to go. I wasted my time waiting and kept me waiting. My time is important and crutial. … More
