Poor Phil's Bar and Grill

My wife and I have been frequent customers over the last few years. I was just thinking last night how great the waitstaff are. I can't think of a time when we weren't greeted with smiles and kindness. Their staff always seem eager to help and recommend items, ask questions when they're not sure, and make sure we're doing okay with drinks and food. I'm sure staffing these days is very challenging for for all restaurants, but they're doing a great job. Great draught beer selection. If you like and Old Fashioned, try their Harvest Maple.

We enjoyed lunch here today. Very quaint atmosphere, very large beer selection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. My friends enjoyed the fish and chips, and the plant-based chicken sandwich. I ordered the blackened catfish po-boy with red beans and rice, it was very good!!

The food was awful. Ordered the gumbo and I dont know what they served but it DEFINITELY was Not gumbo. Just take it off the menu. It was like a thick gravy, eww. The oysters were ok, as well as the mozzarella sticks. The wine was the best part of the meal. I wouldn't go back.
