Polite Society Restaurant and Bar

So DISAPPOINTING! The food is BLAND, with a capital B. I had cheesy grits and shrimp. It had no taste outside the shrimp itself. The grits were flavorless to the point it was disgusting. The avocado toast was completely watery and tasteless. I make better avocado toast at home with mozzarella tomatoes and balsamic. Their version of the toast was gross. Their eggs Benedict was little to be desired. I had been want to try this place for months. This is just sad. The bloody Mary’s were disgusting, both types tasted the same. Worst cocktail I have ever had. At least I tried and conquered, definitely not a regular spot.

Had a great brunch experience here! Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. I ordered a pretty basic Belgian waffle but did sample around the table and the Chorizo Avocado Benedict and Brunch Monster (pictured) were both delicious. Unlimited mimosas were def a factor in picking this place, and they DID not disappoint. Although there is a hour and thirty minute limit, they pour a great mix that isn't too heavy on the OJ????. Food and mimosas were on point and the atmosphere was cute and quaint. I would definitely visit again if I am in St. Louis and recommend anyone to give it a try if looking for a brunch spot with unlimited mimosas!????
