I went to this restaurant on Sunday, almost all the tables were full and it was very crowded. My friends and I ordered lamb, chicken, Greek salad and Village salad. The chicken and fries were good, but the salads and lamb were much less than expected. The oil on the salads was a little bitter, the toast was too big and hard, and if anyone tried to eat them, they might break their teeth????. Overall, I chose this one because of the good comments and the high score, but I did not have a good experience.????
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Great authentic Greek fair in an upscale setting. The place was packed and upbeat on a Friday night and they sat us in 10 minutes then we had a fantastic meal. We sat in the bar which was perfect and our waiter helped us with the menu picking a few apps and a great salad. I had the lamb chops which were incredible. The vibe is very lively and fun. Great spot!
Plateia is a great local Mediterranean restaurant! The appetizers are top notch & fresh. The dinner entree portions are large, extremely well made, and super delicious. The desserts are light, delicious, & the perfect size after a great meal. You can taste the fresh ingredients, skill, & passion of the chef in every dish. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The outdoor patio is a fantastic & comfortable environment as long as the weather cooperates. The alcohol selection is good for a restaurant, mostly middle shelf liqours with some top shelf bottles available as well. The mixed drinks are well made & fairly priced. The menu has menu traditional Greek favorites that are always on point & never lacking in portion size. I'll definitely be back to keep eating my way across the entire menu! Parking: Large parking lot.
