AWESOME SPOT!!! Food was amazing! I had the Proper Fish and Chips, m’lady had the steak frites. Our server, Ed made the experience even better!! He was not only kind and gave excellent recommendations, but he was engaging and humorous!!! I’d go back just to experience that same service and ask for Ed again, but the food was SO GOOD!! The fish melted in my mouth, oh so tender!!! Super flavorful, well seasoned, batter was flavorful as well! The steak was also cooked perfectly (I had a few bites!!) We also had some drinks that I didn’t take pictures of and they were great! Will be returning and even recommending this place to others. I also should note that the speediness of service was SUPER QUICK!! Drinks, 2 apps, and entrées, everything was timed perfectly! We had a full dinner and we’re leaving the restaurant 45 minutes after we entered!!
My dad, brother and I went to PJ Clarks for a late lunch. Our waiter was nice and served as well. Aside from a mishap that happened with my brothers order. My brother deliberately said he did not wants a runny egg in his burger and unfortunately received a runny egg in his burger. The food was delicious but it also took them 30 minutes to get us our meal (including appetizers). The Chicken Sandwich was dark meat only. I was not the biggest fan.
Stopped by during Happy Hour so not able to comment on dinner menu. Walking distance to the White House. Great outdoor seating. Oysters were surely the signature although there were some bits and pieces of the shell. Great service.
