In the heart of LA, an Italian corner shines thanks to Pizzeria Mozza, owned by renowned chef Nancy Silverton. This culinary gem is proud of its Bib Gourmand recognition from the Michelin guide, an award reserved for restaurants that offer excellent meals at moderate prices. The appetizer of Tuscan crostini and baked olives was tasked with opening the dance. The experience was sublime, with the freshness of the ingredients honouring Italian cuisine. The stars of the show, of course, were the pizzas. We opted for a Margherita and a Napoletana. The dough was crispy, more similar to that of bread, a bold touch that contributed to the uniqueness of the experience. The ingredients were freshest, as expected in a venue of this caliber. -Terrible Experience & 1 hour wait for the food - way below expectations I had guests coming from out of town & i thought maybe we will go to try out that nice place that has a michelin star & excellent ratings. The service was terrible and it took about an hour for me to get my food & when i informed the staff the waiter was arguing with me with a bad attitude as if im the one who i wrong. honestly the pizza & the food was great but the service was terrible & not worth the wait. I informed the staff about all of this & all i got was an appetizer & lame excuses.
The Pizza was just gross. It tasted like smoke. I think its because they cook other stuff in the pizza oven. Super greasy/oily and soggy. Hardly any cheese or any toppings at all. Super disappointed. The meatballs were way salty. Salad was ok. Will not go back.
