Pizzeria Fifty Four

I went during the lunch rush. Pizza was doughy and not impressive. They sell sandwiches and salads too. You'll pay downtown Albany prices but still reasonable. The owner and cashier were nice and respectful. Place has very low lighting inside, and somewhat clean. Off street parking.

Very good one fired Pizza! The owner was beyond amazing and super nice! He sponsors Semi-Pro football teams and goes above and beyond to make all of his customers feel at home

Quality of pizza is usually a B-. No lie, they screw up my order more times than not. The usual method is by leaving my pizza in the oven too long, so the crust gets burned and the top is molten lava. Many times when they walk around with the huge tray of burned slices, someone has already snagged my pizza by the time it comes to me, so I have to wait another 10mins. Worst setup I've ever seen in a pizzeria with this "just go sit, we'll bring it to you." Why do I still come here? BC it's $6.50 for 2 slices and a soda.
