Pizza at the Brick Oven

I used to live just down the street from Brick Oven Pizza, New Haven’s finest pizza establishment. Ever since I moved away, I’ve been heartbroken every Saturday night, when I inevitably crave my favorite slice. I come here every time I pass through town. The pizza is consistently sublimely delicious, a cut above even in a city known for its pizza. Also, the mozzarella stick scene in New Haven is just plain said, and the Mozz sticks at Brick oven are delicious. Best in the city by far.

I walked in not knowing what to expect and was more than pleasantly surprised. The staff made me feel like family, so warm and inviting. And the cherry on top was the most delicious pizza. I spent the day in NYC expecting to have the best but it did not compare to the pizza at Brick Oven. A true gem.

4.5…. Brick Oven was the introduction to New Haven Pizza for me, after eating 6 slices of a pie I must say im excited to try other spots. Extra points for being open late. 9 outta 10 after 3 martinis, im def down w the New Haven Style, wood oven, crispy and thin taking it easy on the pizza sauce covered w not a ton of cheese.
