Pio's Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge

Had a very nice evening meal at Pio’s. Jennie was our server and provided excellent service. The lasagna was excellent. The blue cheese dressing was most excellent. The atmosphere at this restaurant is very relaxing and worth your time to visit.

Ok, I'm going to maintain my upmost honesty on these reviews... I was a little nervous about our meal when we walked in and saw the dated and desperately in need of updating decor. We started our meal with some fried mushroom type appetizer. The server did explain in great detail the variation of fried mushrooms and we both got sadly disappointed by the strange concoction. I was worried that we may have made a poor decision in dinner. We ordered the house special pizza with low expectations. That pizza was amazing! We ate almost all of it and looked forward to the left overs the next day! Absolutely loved it! The service was top notch and the price was reasonable.

We ate lunch there yesterday. Chicken and dumplings, husband had roast beef dinner and a cup of vegetable soup. Everything soooo good. Oh, and split homemade coconut meringue pie! Sorry no pics as we were too excited to eat our food!
