At Pinky's, at Pinky's, pounds you'll gain, gain, gain, gain, gain." - parody of the theme to "Pinky & the Brain" On a hot Sunday night, my hunger wanted something impactful, yet cheap. I've had my eyes on Pinky's for awhile, so the stars aligned for my first visit. Pondering upon what to order, I decided on good ol' tacos. Unfortunately, they did not have lengua or birria de chivo, so I went with a trio taco plate of al pastor, birria de res & cabeza- Pinky's did not skimp on the meat. Accompanied by 4 sauces, slices of lime & pickled carrots/radishes, the tacos were hefty. Topped with onions & cilantro, I relished eating these tacos, my favorite being the oh so tender, oh so succulent cabeza.
