Pinky's Rooftop

I really enjoy Pinky’s! This place is an entire vibe! Yesterday was my second visit there. I got two drinks, the turning Japanese which was delicious and strong. And also a Frosé which I fell in love with on my first visit. The Parmesan herb fries are delicious with the aioli Mayo. I got the harvest salad with added chicken thigh which was very filling. My first visit was for my birthday on Labor Day weekend. Despite the parking situation, I loved the experience. I believe I got a salmon dish which was very good but had lots of corn. Overall I really enjoy pinky’s. I just wish they had a happy hour menu!

We came to this establishment to celebrate 8 years of a black business restaurant owner of the city of Detroit. It was 5 of us and we are all business owners. The police was called because we looked like we were not going to pay the bill. I was embarrassed, I was angered, I have never been treated like that in my life. I met Karen that night. A night I will never forget. Food nasty, Drinks were good, the host was great. It was the racist Female Manager that was the problem. Looking to sue because I can’t sleep thinking about this.

So this is located on top of the old Diablo's restaurant. I had not idea. Lol. The theme is Pinky's from "Grease" so they have fun signature drinks like the "Beauty School Dropout" with cotton candy for the hair of mannequins. It's a festive, pretty cool place. We came in with a party of 18 and they serviced us so well! I ordered the Steak Frites done medium, and it was perfect! The seating at out table was a little tight, but there were quite a bit of us, so I won't rate them down for that. Our waitress was amazing! I'll definitely be back!
