Picante Mexican Bar & Grill

Stopped here on our way to Ohio. Very busy place but didn't have to wait too long for our order. Sandwiches were huge and the bread was very good.

Sadly, it was awful. We really wanted to like this place but it all started off on the wrong foot when we were given our menu (yes, menu not menus for the three of us). There were no descriptions of the menu items, some were crossed out with a pen and many items had a piece of yellow masking tape over them so we weren't even sure how much a taco really cost. When the food finally arrived, our beans were cold like they were just taken out of the fridge, the rice was barely warm, and my husband had ordered fajitas but didn't receive the tortillas. We pointed out the cold bean situation and the waitress went to the kitchen and informed the cook who then said something to the effect of -I forgot to heat them. The waitress eventually returned with some warm beans and they were terrible. Very running and barely had any flavor. We then pointed out the lack of tortillas and the waitress was like- Oh no! We messed up again and left to get some. Mind you, we were the ONLY customers in the

I love this place, but just an announcement for those who see their old ads for $1 taco tuesdays. on 2/11/19 (the day I saw the change) it's now changed to $1.99 taco tuesday special. Normally their tacos are $2.50 (depending on what your order). so it's still a good price, just letting consumers know. As for those who had their $1.00 Taco Tuesday Specials in the past, it seems like the same amount.
