Piacquadio's Italian Restaurant & Lounge

Without a doubt the most poorly run restaurant in Pittsburgh. I'll spare you the details of their refusing to let you be seated until your entire party arrives, or the $5.00 charge if you want bread, or the $1.00 charge if you want a leaf of lettuce. Rather I'll just focus on last night. After waiting 90 minutes for food we decided to complain to the owner. Did he apologize? Oh no. Did he offer us something on the house for the awful service? Oh no. He became irritated and said " what are you complaining to me for." That about sums up the attitude of the place.

I love this place, great portion sizes, and overall the waiting staff is nice and always helpful. The food is awesome, I haven't eaten the veal as it's not my thing, but the chicken is great. I soup is nice as well doesn't taste bland or prepared. Overall my favorite part of the meal is the bread it always is and they have great dipping oil. If you haven't been here try it out you'll be surprised at how awesome the small business is. We need too support local business and this one is a great one I'd like too see stay around. So stop by and get yourself some food from here This is my usual date spot with my wife, so it's good if you need that time away from the kids. Message too the owner: Please give Mandy a raise she deserves it, it seems like she's always on point and it seems like she's slightly running the show the last couple times I've stopped in. She always greets me and any other customer very politely. She deserves too be some sort of management because her work ethic is great

You were one of my favorite restaurants. I picked up two fish dinners (1 small piece of fish, 1 small coleslaw and fries. The price was over $46.00. I will never eat at your restaurant again . How greedy can you get? I thought it was a mistake and called and spoke to your very polite male employee. He confirmed the prices were raised. The fish was not even good.
