PHUKET THAI - Huntington Beach

Their shrimp fried rice here is quite good. They just need to fry the onions a bit longer along with the shrimps so that they are cooked thoroughly. Thai ice tea is not bad here but you have to ask then to make it not so sweet or it will be quite sweet.

Food is good, but if you like to explore many different dishes in one sitting, they will make the portions much smaller if you order more than two dishes. We were a party of two, and ordered five dishes, because we like to supoort local businesses & try as many dishes as possible. Each dish was surprisingly small, which was disappointing, especially as we watched other tables around us order only two dishes, and get huge portions compared to what we recieved. I guess they didn't want us packing up leftovers, so they took the liberty to do portion control for us...that's not cool! This has happened three times here, so that's the third strike! It takes a lot for me to write a review that is less than stellar, because we support small HB business whole-heartedly, but these guys lost big time points for basically punishing us for throwing more money at them. We now go to another amazing legit Thai place in HB on Warner & Goldenwest that doesn't change portion size based on how many dishes

Best Thai I have had in California so far! I have tried many restaurant since moving here two years ago. We just happened to be in Huntington Beach for the day and stopped here. So glad we did!!! Everything we had was delicious. Chicken satay was very moist and beautifully presented. Green Thai curry and Pad See Eu were also top notch. The mango sticky rice was the bomb. The service was also very fast and Angie was very kind when my niece was making a mess with Rice on the floor. Totally recommend and will come here again!!
