Pho Tay Ho

Best Pho I’ve had in the Salt Lake area! Family owned and is located in a cute house turned restaurant! Almost missed it because of this. 10/10 recommend!

CURES MY HOMESICKNESS ALL THE TIME! I just moved to Utah from Chicago and I come here 2 times a week! Make sure to dine-in to get that asian aunty experience, even if you're not asian it just feels like home. I grew up with my Thai grandmother and even though its Vietnamese food the whole house of Pho Tay Ho smells like a southern asian home. Good vibes for sure, and every time I eat here I think of my grandma and I miss her so much. This place is truly the most special place to me in Salt Lake City. I come here not only because of the delicious Pho, but you can see the ladies cooking in the back kitchen, and they are so sweet. ALSO their chili oil is homemade and it is the SH!T, like to the point where you want to ask to buy a bottle of it or just for the recipe so you can experience that delicious chili oil always for the rest of your life lol! It is not fancy, it is simple, and heartwarming and minimal.

OH MY PHO. First off, the staff are so friendly and helpful even while they’ve been so short staffed (I included a pic of the signs on their door outlining hours and such until August 2nd,) but the PHO was SO AMAZING! I asked our waitress what their most popular dish and the #10 and all of the additional toppings and sauces were superb together! Highly recommend Pho Tay Ho if you like delicious Vietnamese food!
