Asked about Imitation chicken the person at the cash register who speaks English very well might I say, looked at as if she didn’t know what dish I was talking about. I ordered sweet and sour imitation chicken, after one of the cashiers coworkers explained what it was and SUMMER ROLLS, which the cashier and myself both confirmed twice. She didn’t even ask for a name for the order. I waited for, what was said to be a 25-30 minute wait, but instead it was a 45 minute wait just to receive a watery “sweet and sour” imitation chicken and SPRING ROLLS. NEVER AGAIN.

Been so long to come back here. It’s totally different in the good way. Their service is more welcoming and friendly. Their menu is more delicious food and very clear so you can easy to pick the one you like. The food is so good. And I also really love the lychee drink that they have, so good. Definitely come back!!!

Pho Quyen is a Vietnamese restaurant located on Fowler Avenue near the University of South Florida. Located in a plaza where it’s tricky to get ground, but it’s worth it. The decor seems updated, but unauthentic. I hoped for more creative decor like a Buddha or Vietnamese landmarks. The sign at the front seemed to be vandalized. The service was good, they repeated our order to make sure everything we got was correct. The food itself was very good, being that this is the first time I tried food from the Southeast Asia Peninsula. My chicken and rice was quite spicy for the things I’ve ordered. Everyone else had very good food. Update the decor a bit, and I’ll probably give this place 5 stars.
