Pho Barr is a bright little restaurant for fairly good Vietnamese food. Went to have lunch here with a couple of friends for the first time. I already have a favorite Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Ben, so I was looking forward to try another to compare it to. As we walked in, I quickly noticed the modern, stylish vibe of the restaurant, which was nice. We were the first customers for lunch, so service was very responsive. I ordered a chicken rice bowl and we all shared two bulgogi fries. Once again, I already have a favorite when it comes to bulgogi fries (Oh My Gogi! bulgogi fries) so I was also looking forward to trying Pho Barr's fries. My chicken rice bowl was no doubt tasty. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the broth wasn't bad. However, it was not up to the standard Pho Ben had set for me. The chicken was a tad too sweet and saucy, and the broth was a bit too salty and slightly too greasy. The bulgogi fries were also good. But once again, Oh My Gogi fries set the bar a bit too hig
