Pho Banh Mi

Love this place. Their vegetarian banh mi with lemongrass marinated tofu is my favourite. Reasonably priced amongst all the restaurants at University Avenue.

Came on a Sunday night at 8PM. They were very short staffed, seemed to be only three people running the entire floor including takeout. Their business could use an extra hand and is running inefficiently. The bar counter is about 20 feet long, but only seats two people. The high top tables by the bar should be regular tables and chairs instead to optimize space and prevent being missed by the waiters like us. The food is good value for the prices you are paying, but I am willing to pay a little more for better quality. The service needed to be flagged down for water, to take the order, and to pay for the check. With the right changes, they can easily excel.

Took my friend from out of town to this lovely little spot in Palo Alto. The service was quick! I had the chicken pho and it was just so light and delicious! Tony kept our water glasses full and offered great suggestions on the menu. He was super sweet and helpful! Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.
