It has been years since I was last here, long long before I was doing reviews. This place does things with excellence. This trip I tried the pastrami - last time it was the Beef dip. The pastrami is without a doubt the best I have had. The sandwich is savory and filled with great flavor. The spicy mustard on the table was a great compliment. I also had one of the pickled eggs and wow it was good. The dining area was clean and functional, but who goes to eat for the dining area alone? I forgot to take a picture before I bit into it...sorry:)

Really good dip sandwiches! I was told by a friend this was a must go place to eat in LA! The food was great the staff was friendly and the prices were good too! Sandwich's for less than $11 and lemonade was less than $1. They were small cups but was great for everyone!

This place was highly raved by my friends and I took it upon myself to break my curiosity and try it for lunch….perhaps wasn’t the best choice. This place is a beloved classic for most but I just couldn’t see why, the beef sandwich was mid in flavor and it really didn’t give me the “Wow Factor” I was told. The pickled egg was honestly not for me and the chili was not hot and felt the sodium content was above normal. I’ll probably get bashed for my review but I speak with honesty, only finished half the sandwich.
