Still like the food here a lot, the staff as usual was super friendly. Everything went well ☺️
The dish I selected was awful. Do not get the short rib fried rice. Dry meat, excessive sauce, bad flavor, 3 edamame pieces and 1 slice of mushroom. Server was professional and friendly. She noticed I didn’t eat and would have sent it back for me if I had asked. The new inflation adjusted menu has price increases of 2-4$ for each item. I don’t think the quality level and freshness matches the new prices.
We came in on a Sunday afternoon, surprisingly (for the location & being a weekend) it was slow. I thought, great... the service should be fast & smooth, WRONG! We waited 25mins to be seated, then when we asked for a booth, they said it would be another extra wait even though most of the booths were available. Finally seated, they took our drink order & that took 20mins only to have our server tell us they didn't have a bartender & they were out of the alcohol beverage we ordered. After wait forever for the food, besides the sushi which was good, the rest of the dishes were mediocre at best. We asked four different people for drinks & finally after we had already finished eating, got our drinks. Horrible, NEVER again!!! If this is how they operate when it's dead slow (with a full staff standing around doing nothing), I'd hate to see this place full.
