Pesto's Italian Restaurant

$16 for the smallest pizza ever with barely any toppings. We didn't pick anything off before the photo. Meat lovers? Not nearly enough to love. Service was super slow and not very helpful. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive. Bread with the garlic basil dip was yummy however no offer to refill. Got their specialty soup, can't remember the name but it's the creamed veggie soup, had no flavor at all and for 8 bucks? No thanks. My Chicken Florentine had no flavor either. The only bright spot was the shrimp pesto. I would only go back for the pesto... Maybe.

THE BEST PASTA PLACE IN SOUTH BAY! I absolutely enjoyed all the dishes I have tried here. I strongly recommend their Spaghetti Carbonara and Gnocchi in pink sauce. Amazing food and service. I’m actually little bit angry that I found out this place so late!???????? I love their chimichurri too. It tastes just like home-made ones.

Been going here for about 5 years now. Not often enough though.. I don't understand some of the low star reviews. Lovely restaurant with nice ambiance. Low music in the background, ampil lighting, clean and comfortable seating. Our waiter was pleasant, asked for refills on drinks and bread and asked how was our food. Did not rush us. Food was very fresh, served hot and was very tasty. Wife had veal marsala, very tender and tasty. I had grilled salmon with a pesto sauce, very juicy and good flavor. With a appetizer and two regular drinks with 20% tip paid 70 bucks. Worth every penny. I know you can't make everyone happy but happiness starts with one self.
