Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

The four of us had some pretty good food. Service was great. Coffee was good and hot. We loved our waitress . We had an enjoyable time. Your worker's at the Winter Park store are Awesome. The manager and a couple of other employees brought our mom's Birthday cake out with one candle burning. She's 86. We forgot the candle. They found one and sang Happy Birthday to her. She likes this specific Perkins in Winter Park. She comes often with friends. Thank you all for a very pleasant afternoon. She enjoyed her day.

Perkins is a place I don't visit too often, but when I do, I enjoy the casual atmosphere of a breakfast-all-day type of place. Which is to say, very delicious. I recommend to try their skillets. Service is very friendly and quick, a pleasant surprise.

I would give it a different rating. Maybe 3 start. When we went this time, checking out we wanted to get a dessert. The usual cabinet with the pies in it was not working and you could tell that they were defrosting it because the floor around it was wet. The other cabinet that has the baked goods had a few items in there. We wanted to get a pineapple upside down dessert. The lady reached her arm in and drained flies were swarming inside of the closed cabinet. I'm from Florida I know we have bugs.I was appalled at the amount of bugs that were inside of this cabinet with food that they were still serving. The gentleman walked to the back and came back to us and said we have some desserts in the back with no bugs.If that amount of bugs were in your closed cabinet I can only imagine what was in your open kitchen. I didn't make a scene at that moment because I was thoroughly disgusted I actually went outside and threw up my food because I was worried about the bugs. I called the gentleman a
