Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

I am a regular Perkins customer. I currently drive past a couple Perkins on my way to this one, simple because the food normally taste better here. The service is ‘inconsistent’ at best and it seems that the have a lot of turnover with staff and some inexperienced staff still have to learn the ‘ropes.’If you come to this Perkins looking for the perfect dinner experience you will be disappointed. However, if you come with an open mind embrace the ‘bumps’ (like computers being down and wait staff that might not replace silverware until you ask for it) I believe you will find value in the price and enjoy the nice comfort food.

I went here when it has been 3 years since I've last been. I loved this place then, but now it's since downgraded. I got hash browns, eggs and toast. The toast was burned black. Scrambled eggs were fine, same with hash browns. My grandma got a waffle, it wasn't bad but could be better. My other grandma got biscuits and gravy with mashed potatoes. She said it wasn't very good. I got the minute maid pink lemonade. It was good! My other grandma got coffee, again it was fine. Probably won't come in a year or two again, but worth a shot to try :) I understand they are low staffed and trying so I'm not trying to bash them. Good effort though! Dietary restrictions: Not any bread for gluten free people. Parking: Parking for senior citizens!! Kid-friendliness: Coloring pages for kids!

I would give it a zero if that was an option. I ordered dinners to go. I didn't mind the 45 minute wait but when I got the food it was cold. I didn't even think about opening my meals to make sure everything was correct. When I got home, realized the side salad was missing! The pork chops looked like they were on a hunger strike! My chicken tenders were so dry and batter was so salty. Overcooked and overseasoned. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was starchy. The potatoes were stodgy. The only decent thing were the steamed broccoli. Never going back!
