Pepo Melo

They offer many options for fruits and powders. I've never had Lions Shroom before but know it's very healthy and was excited to try it.

Honestly, when Pepo first opened up I was not a fan. We typically went to “the spot” also in Claremont. More recently, my daughters made more requests to go to Pepo. I would send them in and never craved or had the desire to “try” their fruit bowl concoction. Fast forward, one day I asked if I could try some, and Jesus, I was hooked from then on. At first, going there and not knowing what their offerings mean, or taste like can feel ???? but the customer service is kind and so I asked to try anything I wasn’t sure about. They were patient, and, now I know what I like and have integrated more fruits into my diet. I will pick this as a “treat” over the Starbucks run. While everyone says the prices are great, I was wallet shocked because I think it’s on the expensive side, but, it’s a business and considering the location, overhead and cost of goods, I think it’s fair. The fruit has been spot on in terms of quality and I appreciate that. Hats off to the owner and staff. A tip for consum

After walking around the Village Venture a while, my sis and I wanted something to drink. We saw Pepo Melo and went for smoothies. I had the Butterfly effect, and it was great. If you like banana get this, because you can definately taste it. I didn't get a bowl, but they have a good selection of sorbet, fruit and toppings.
