Chicken Bahn mi tacos were great, some of the ingredients didn't appear to be very fresh though. The beans were mediocre at best. The rice was embarrassing to have on the plate. $15 and only the tacos were edible, with questionable conditions during their construction
This place has amazing food! The prices are good and the food is so good. We had to go back a second time! The margarita flight was also a plus.
Stopped by Pelons because it was near my hotel was I am in Austin for business. I am SO HAPPY I did. The food (carnitas enchiladas) is amazing. The margaritas are amazing. And they have some of the best salsa I've ever had (Pelons management - you should seriously bottle and sell your salsa. Put me down for the first bottle if you do!). My server, Amelia, was friendly, funny, and attentive. The next time I'm in Austin I'll be making a point of returning here. Thank you!
