Pelicana Chicken

I believed all the good reviews and turned out I was too naive. Pros - in the source mall, which is plenty parking place Cons - The staff have bad attitude - The chicken taste is suck. I ordered bonless fry chicken and it felt like I chew the rubber band - the breast parts and thigh parts taste hard to tell the difference because both are too bad Overall, this is a kind of the first time I felt like wasted my money to feel the worst Korean chicken in my entire life

I've eaten at Pelicana twice so far and have been very satisfied both times. The chicken is very soft and juicy. It's not pictured but their french fries are so good too! Their french fry batter has its own taste so it tastes amazing. I tried the half size boneless chicken, crispy with original sauce in the side during my first time here. I fell in love with the softness and juiciness of the chicken. Their chicken-moo, aka radish in vinegar, is amazing too! Today I tried the whole size boneless chicken with half crispy and half garlic. The garlic was very good, but is very garlicky. I love garlic so I didn't have an issue, but if you aren't a super garlic lover like I am then it might be a bit much. Half size is perfect for the garlic. It was also a bit spicy, but nothing to be worried about if you have a moderate and above spice tolerance. I definitely recommend! Their staff are always very kind and helpful as well.

So my sister in law ordered this chicken because our usual chicken joint was closed for the day. Their loss is Pelicana's gain. Which is also our gain. Chicken here is fire. Literally, on fire because my sister in law decided to go for it and get Hot spicy ???????????? flavoring. That is exactly what the menu says. She ordered the 18 piece ($26) hot spicy wings and a side of sweet potato fries ($7). Pretty pricey for wings, in my opinion. However, it did make up for in terms of flavor. It's got that magical sweetness, paired with the spiciest of spices that, for myself, is something I've missed for a while. You know it's spicy when your face starts to tingle. Anyway, I gotta give kudos to my SIL for picking a great spot and Pelicana for cooking excellent food.
