Pei Wei Asian Kitchen

Ordered pei wei via door dash. I used to frequent the pei wei in Dallas a couple years back. But tonight I was so disappointed. The honey chicken tasted artificial. The Lo mein was just weird. No sauce , no flavors . The egg rolls. I used to love them and they were a decent size. Now they are tiny for 6.89?! That was the item that tasted the best tonight. I won't be ordering again.

Woo-hoo Pei Wei is open in Mansfield! How disappointing it was to find the new business model, with modified menu, the horrible decor and worst of all the food. We ordered our standards from the past; Pad Thai, Teriyaki Chicken and tried the new Thai Wonton soup and Coconut Curry Chicken, also the Thai donuts. Needless to say we took it to go. Well, first, the soup was flavorless and cold, the Pad Thai was dry and very lack luster. The Teriyaki Chicken wasn't close to traditional Teriyaki, being over sauced and to sweet. The Coconut Curry was just on the dry side and spicier than expected but probably the tastiest of the three entrees. The "donuts" were definitely forgettable, at least for me. We received a free entrée for using the app. Which we won't be using anytime soon. For $45 bucks, I think we will be eating at Li's Chinese Kitchen in Mansfield next time the urge for Asian food hits again.

Takeout today - orange chicken and beef broccoli. The orange chicken is a fail tasted like bread nuggets . Oil needed to be changed also -The beef wasn’t too bad. May have to try a few other things to see if I can raise my stars..
