My all time cantonese favorite: beef noodle soup… ???? yum … …

I had been wanting to try this place but could never actually get to because Full Key down the street is my all time favorite go-to. And it's hard to be so close to Full Key and not go! A friend was flying into town super late night and starving, Paul Kee was the only Chinese place open in the neighborhood. So perfect opportunity to finally try them out. We walked into an empty restaurant. It's not super clean, and doesn't smell that lovely. But since it was empty we thought service would be quick and painless. Not so much. We ordered two bowls of shrimp dumpling noodle soup, chicken congee and Chinese broccoli with garlic. Easy orders right? The noodle soups came out in a semi-reasonable but were SO bland. The congee was decent, but came out when the noodle soups were already demolished. And the Chinese broccoli never came. By the time, we could our server to help us - she let us know that she had never placed the order in. We ended up canceling the Chinese broccoli since our food was

stale and greasy. even the hot oil was not spicy. the pepper keeps getting recycle. staff don't even realized the oil is not spicy any more. there is no management here nor quality control. this is not restaurant level food. It's more like a food truck level. chit I think the food truck might be better.
