Get the cookies. This is home cooked comfort food. Fried chicken, hush puppies, northern beans… it’s comfy and nothing fancy and that is what they deliver. GET THE COOKIES to go if your too full. Seasonal favorite is a pumpkin white chocolate pecan that is mind blowing. Parking: Big lot, many spaces
I’m new in the area and this is my new go to spot for food in my area. Service is attentive and efficient for the most part. The food is really good and the portions are large. I’m going to be slowly going through their menu to identify my favorites. Their fried chicken and pizzas are two outstanding items they offer. The real gems here though are the cookies up front by the register. Those are just outstanding.
Yup. Went there for dinner. Had the chopped steak and she had the Chinese salad with an order of chicken livers to go. The food was GREAT but the waitstaff was better.
