Parish Public House

Great dinner 7/21 despite the packed house before the concert. Though we had to wait for a table and food due the size of the crowd, and minimal staff, the service was fast and friendly. Alex (sp?) and her coworkers were upbeat, cheerful, and funny weaving through the crowd and making sure everyone had what they needed. The food was exceptional. This was easily the best dinner our table had during our 2 week business trip to Albany. Blackened Catfish Sandwich was expertly prepared with a side of Cajun fries, perfectly crisp with just the right amount of spice. Crawfish platter "went down like a taste of home" to my coworker. The 2nd coworker said his Shrimp Po-boy was everything he wanted. We tried a Gumbo Shot at the end, and it would make a NOLA dream dinner on a chill winter night. Sorry, no photos, the aromas and our appetites took any other thoughts away. Can't wait to get back to Albany on business again. I know where I'll be eating.

Had a great time. Drinks were on point. We had such delicious appetizers that we weren't able to order entrees. We'll try a few on our next visit. We came in on a night they were having a concert. Not my kinda music, but the people were eclectic, and the vibe was great.

Very nice place with really good Cajun food - we had a Shrimp Po Boy and Gator bites... with a Louisiana IPA ! Makes us want to go back to NOLA. The server was great. We will come back.
