Very nice Peruvian restaurant in Walnut Creek, California. It is a simple but welcoming setting. The food offerings are delicious and quite authentic.
Always had this place marked as Wanted to visit and finally after the visit got very much disappointed with food selection, it’s quality and service overall. Can to give it a try in the very late lunch hour on Thursday. The place was pretty much empty. Going through the menu did not find anything exiting. Went by the Yelp images and picked Empanada Trio sampler as appetizer and as Pescado a lo Macho for the main. Chicharrones Calamari was recommended by the server. Empanada Trio sampler came oil-free cooked puffs with covered with sugar powder filled with chicken (1), chilly (1), mushrooms (1), a one time try dish. Chicharrones Calamari came as regular, deep fried, dough coated, greasy ones that partially were left in the plate. Assuming Pescado a lo Macho would be top notch turned out to be over spiced, mixed seafood dish with two good pieces of tilapia on top. The dish was on the oily side way too heavy.
