The Crispy ATLANTIC SALMON & SCALLOP came with Seared shrimp, scallop, lemon butter, sautéed spinach. The salmon was perfectly medium rare and melted in my mouth. It came with just ONE scallop. For the price, a few more scallops would have been worth it. It’s also right outside the convention which was a great location nearby. Service was okay.
The meal was great. A little pricey but the portions were fair. Service was great and the place was very nice. Staff was working hard and the restaurant was buzzing full of people.
Pappas restaurants tend to be pretty good, but Pappadeaux might be my favorite. Overall it's a great spot for Cajun and Louisiana inspired food. Usually people go for birthdays or formal events. I like this location since it's in downtown and easy to get to from Discovery Green or the convention center. My recommended dishes are the blackened catfish or crawfish etouffee.
