Papa Mazzotti’s is a great mom and pop Italian restaurant hidden away in Thornton. I’ve been there several times before and it’s always very good. This was the Mama’s Italian casserole that comes with a salad or soup, and the cheesecake for dessert—also amazing.
Hate to say it, but the restaurant is closed more and more. Called on Friday to confirm open on Saturday. Yes. Went Saturday and business closed. A shame. Food is always good. Wish they could be consistently open. 5 cars pulled in as we waited for our party to arrive. Full house was left to find other restaurants. Really like the family and the food. Will continue to try and support this little neighborhood gem.
