Panera Bread

Food was good. A lot of deferred maintenance and filthy. $30 for 2 people. I can go to Cheesecake factory for a better experience at that price. Panera is a family favorite and this location was disappointing.

The Kenwood Panera is awful. There was no toilet paper in the ladies room. The ice machine did not work. Can barely see the menu due to very high shelves on the counter. They did not have the item we specifically went there to eat. There is no flow to the ordering, waiting, eating. The folks waiting to order have to stand in the very narrow aisle with their backsides very close to those sitting in the booths. Same if you are waiting for your food. Folks squeezing past the folks waiting in the narrow aisle to get to the drinks. More backsides in the faces of diners. A huge open space at the front of the store that serves no purpose. We sat across from the blender, which was annoying. Seems they put 10 lbs of restaurant in a 5 lb space. The good news, the employees were courteous and helpful. Will not be going back to that particular store.

Enjoyable experience. Sandwich was tasty, spicy, chicken breast on brioche bun. The beverage was good. Mango something. Had a shot of caffeine in it. The service was odd. One young Lady running register and getting orders together. Three people at warm side making sandwiches, but no sandwiches were ordered. So a lot of talking and laughing, they could have helped girl at register. My opinion.
