Panda King Chinese Restaurant

I ordered for the first time on Christmas Eve. I ordered Pepper Steak w. Onions. Well maybe there were 4 small pieces for green pepper. I saw advertised on their menu "Brown Rice" on the slim menu. I asked for brown rice instead of white and was told they don't have it. Then why is it on your menu! If you don't have it take it off your menu! I ordered a Pork Egg Roll which should have shredded pork in it. It had a pastie something in it that was really gross. I could not eat it and threw it away. The wonton soup was good. I guess having 4 small pieces of green pepper legally allowed them to call it pepper steak. Rip Off! I paid $13.25 for pepper steak not steak and onions. I paid $1.50 for a pork egg roll with no pork in it. I will not go back there. Maybe they are cutting back but on what you serve and advertise should not be it. False advertising with bad food. I don't regret this review. Let the buyer beware.

Third place chinese in Wake Forest. It's clean and staff are friendly. If you want the basic americanized fried Chinese faves, sweet and sour or general chicken, you will be quite pleased. I just ordered szechuan chicken and it was literally chicken with brown gravy. Zero spice, even less flavor. Don't go here expecting any culinary effort beyond a clean friendly experience. Far far better flavor can be found at the other end of Rodgers Road (not Rolesville end, shudders). I wish they would put more effort into the variety of menu items they have different names but come out the same. The American pallette of today can handle it. Till then, it's utterly unimpressing.

My family has been eating here for at least 8 years. When my son visits from Charlotte this is on his weekend agenda. It’s always fresh delicious food, friendly and efficient service, nice clean restaurant. Delicious sauce every time and veggies are cut like someone took their time making it right. Never an incorrect order. Owners are super. If panda king is closed we won’t get take out anywhere else. The best! Easy 5 star rating.
