We were traveling through town from Atlanta on our way to Pidgeon Forge and decided to stop for lunch. This appears to be family owned, but not sure. However, everyone was very friendly, the food came out fast, the quantity was very generous, and most importantly, we both thought the food was great. They refilled sodas without asking and offered more chips and salsa. The prices were certainly reasonable. If we ever travel through again we will definitely stop in.
Be aware to anyone who has a food allergy!!! The incompetent cooks apparently can’t understand the concept of a FOOD ALLERGY!! We called IN ADVANCED and told them about my mothers SEVERE seafood allergy. Explained that nothing at all can be used in her food that had even touched shrimp. We have never had this issue before! She gets her food and it’s came in contact with seafood!!!!! I called and went “Karen” on the 2 managers that were there and they called the owner. I was told the owner would call me but my phone has not rang! That’s fine! Any and all medical bills that may come from this will be given to them! If something bigger happens to my mother from the allergic reaction, then an attorney will absolutely be made aware of that too!!! You would think a restaurant would take an allergy more seriously! Someone should be held responsible for this incident that could have been avoided like it has been the multiple times we have eaten there!!! Would give 0 stars if it were possible!
Since moving to the area we have tried quite a few Mexican restaurants but we knew we hadn’t found the “one” until now. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, ample seating and the service is top notch. My husband hadn’t even set his glass down before a refill was before him. Food was hot when it came out and flavorful. We will be returning.
