Pancho's Mexican Grill - La Casa de La Birria

Good but Nothing too special. The Bria is ok but nothing to rave about. Love the color and texture. The meat was not that good. Small portions too

The portions are very small. I ordered a carnitas and birria taco (2.50 ea) and a side of beans (3.00) and as you can see…very small. I went around the corner to the taco truck on state and got 2 more tacos for 3.00 because I was still hungry. The taste was fine but my point is that you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere. I just started working around the corner and I’m trying all the new food spots in this area and this is one I likely will not return to.

a recent visit to panchos left me compelled to write my first google review for a salt lake restaurant. we stopped into this joint prior to a st. paul and the broken bones show across the street. fiending for birria, i ordered the plato & was stoked to find generous portions of everything. the birria was super flavorful & tender, the tortillas piping hot & seemingly hand pressed, and the service fantastic. hole in the wall & here for it.
