Palmetto Flats Restaurant & Tavern

Went for the octoberfest meal and unfortunately was not what I was anticipating. First time in a long time I was disappointed in the meal. I do understand about service and its difficulty but there seemed to a lot of staff there and we still had to wait for food and drink. I think the other food on their menu is their claim to fame rather than this.

No pictures because we dove right in, but the food is certainly picture worthy and tastes as good as it looks. They had live music, at just the right volume. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lots of options, so we'll be returning over and over to try them all! If you're looking for really good food in a place that's not a chain, this is the one for you! From the outside you would almost miss this but trust me, you don't want to! Leave room for dessert because the desserts are as good as the entrees!

Brunch was a huge hit with out of town guests. Food was hot and delicious and the build your own bloody Mary was a good choice to start the day. the fried green tomato stack with pimento cheese and bacon on a bed of pesto was a nice twist to an old stand by. The palmetto Benny was on point also.
