Palermo Puerto Rican Kitchen

Arrived last night for a birthday party. The food was good. I ordered the seafood empanadas; it has shredded crab in it. You could tell it was homemade and not frozen. Nice crust and filling. I also ordered the pan seared creole veggies with tostones. I loved the tostones!! The creole veggies were not what I expected, but they were good. The veggies had a choice of pan seared or grilled. When they arrived, they were in a bowl of broth/sauce; not sure how pan seared or grilled makes a difference in this case. I would order it again, try the grilled option to see if there is a difference. We did have a wonderful celebration though and I will go back!

Palermo Puerto Rican Kitchen was a win today. The passion fruit drink and the sweet tea both not pictured was delicious. The empanadas with the house made hot sauce more like a spicy pepper vinegar was delicious. My fave was the seafood empanada. Both main courses was delicious.

Food was absolutely delicious! I had the stuffed chicken with garlic mash potatoes and my wife had the roast pork mofongo. Cant believe I am now just finding this place. I definitely will be back to try some new things.
