The food was cold , we ordered four empanadas which supposed to be an appetizer, two were old and oily; the other two never made it to the table and the waitress keeps telling us that they we making them , I finished my mondongo soup which was cold, the white rice tasted as warm up rice from the previous day, and still the other two empanadas never made it to the table, we had to ask three times for limes and hot sauce to the waitress, she kept side tracking with other things, and at one point she was just standing by the register. However I gotta give thumbs up to the manager as he was very receptive of our concerns and actually wanted to refund the money , we told them that it was ok, that rather than a refund we would like the restaurant to take our suggestions and complaint to improve the attention to the details , and improve the timing as the food comes out of their kitchen , put more flavor in their morcillas, and bring the food warm to the table.
The food here is as good as it gets. This place is so underated. It needs to be as one of the best Colombian restaurants hands down. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
Tried this place since it had good reviews. Ended up being a bad experience. The servers come get your order, bring the food and don’t return to the table unless you call them. They were busy talking amongst themselves and not taking care of the tables. Finished eating and had to wait about 10-15 min for the check. I asked for a drink waitress forgot about it. Food wasn’t much better. Ordered a bandeja paisa, and the arepa was cold and burnt. Beans looked like they were from a can, and had little to no flavor. The steak had no flavor and was hard to chew. Rice had no salt. Also tried the lomo salteado, with salad and fries. The salad had a 1/4 onion in it. The steak had no flavor, nor any salt. Pretty much left the whole plate. Overall I wont be coming back here.
