This is the place if you want to feel you’re actually eating in Puerto Rico, very attentive staff and the customer service is amazing. The restaurant design inside makes you feel that you’re in Old San Juan. The food is very tasty and good presentation, just have in mind you’ll be paying a little bit extra for all this, but you’ll have an enjoyable time here. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 stars is due to the fact that they’ll charge a $20 fee if you want the crew to sign a happy birthday to any person celebrating his/her birthday,. This is the only restaurant that I had to pay for this, all others they just do it as a courtesy, especially if you are a party of 10 people eating and consuming at the restaurant. Other than everything is amazing.
Very lively atmosphere Saturday evening with loud music. The acoustics aren't great so you will need to shout to just speak with someone at your table. The food was good. We celebrated a birthday. For $20 extra they will bring a small cake and sing a traditional birthday song with instruments and all. The pork rinds were the best, the snapper was a bit dry. The mofongo was good and not dry. The glass of sangria was very small and weak though had good taste, more of a juice. The service was on point and friendly. Get there before 4pm and avoid the wait.
Food was exceptional! Everything we tried was perfectly cooked with the correct touch of flavor and seasoning of puertorrican cuisine. Prices might impress, but portions are huge. Almost everyone leaves with doggy bags. WELL worth it! GREAT EXPERIENCES! (We went twice in a 4 day vacation...). Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
