I usually love this place but today the service overall was not of the best. I went at 1pm on a Sunday and they already ran out of some food options to put in the bowls. I was charged for a full meal (which I intended to get) but had to ask for my side and drink after being charged but the young cashier.
Food looked beautiful and smelled great! It tasted like jalapeño, just jalepeno. The Spanish rice was jalapeño. The brisket jalapeño, the salsa jalapeño. No other flavors could shine through. It was supposed to be old fashioned tacos with a crispy shell. Nothing crispy about it. I wanted so much to love it.
Service was excellent and food came out hot and fresh. Ordered the grilled avocados with carnitas and rice and beans. Also ordered steak fajita nachos. Both were delicious.
