Just as everybody says, the staff there were super friendly and welcoming. We came here right after a drink at the next door Twin Peaks Tavern. Luckily we got a booth as it’s usually quite busy. I had their 4 pieces Fried Chicken and I really enjoyed it even though I wasn’t even that hungry. We definitely plan to come back here again next time in San Francisco.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since the late 80s and it never fails to please. There’s sort of a fun snarky attitude about the place which is famously fun for everyone so don’t get yourself spun up if your waiter is a bit catty. The food portions are always generous and the prices are very reasonable considering it’s in a major US tourist hub. Definitely worth a train ride on Sunday morning when everywhere downtown is closed from your fancy hotel. Parking: no parking. However just a few steps from Castro Street Metro Station

Popped in after getting off the streetcar. Well located to watch the cars stop. Ordered the chilli bowl and Hawaiian Wedding Cake. Chilli was excellent and the cake, I wanna get married in Hawaii. It was wonderful. Very friendly service and it was a busy busy place. I think they should remove the screen protectors as they lower the tone of the place but I guess it makes people feel safe.
