Came here for lunch during a visit to the area and it wasn’t bad. The service was good but the food wasn’t the best. Idk if it was a bad day or what but I wasn’t impressed to the max. The waiter was amazing and gave great service. The food was a different story. I got the chimichangas. I asked for no red sauce and asked for them to be extra crispy. Neither happened. The chimichangas came out with red sauce and wasn’t crispy at all. The meat inside was kinda bland and greasy. But the side of rice was a great amount and wasn’t bad in taste. If I come to the area again I would def try this place again but try a different dish. Overall it wasn’t bad but a little hot sauce makes everything better!
Less than 7 hours ago, by around the 830pm timeframe this most recent Wednesday, (at the time of this writing)my husband and I agreed to try some food for takeout from Oro Azteca Mexican Restaurant in Norfolk Virginia (the Hampton boulevard location). My husband selected the beef and chicken chimichanga while I chose the enchiladas rancheros. We received our food orders quickly and enjoyed our food.
Some of the most authentic Mexican dining in the Hampton and Norfolk area! Great customer service with a smile ????. Their mixed drinks aren't for the weak as they tend to be heavy handed with the spirits. Authentic ambiance with Mariachi music and a festive decorated seating area. They do great take-out! They're outstanding at expediting your order and stay attentive to your needs throughout your dining experience. Affordable food and superb location!
