Orchard Market & Café

I got take out from this café and ordered the Duck Fesenjune Dinner and Plum Lamb Dinner. The duck meal was good but very, very sweet. I recommend getting this if you are into sweet dishes. The lamb meal was my favorite though (I prefer savory with a subtle sweet flavor). Both meals were delicious and, along with the great customer service, are reasons why I plan to visit again. Definitely recommend this place!

My meal was $16.95 and this and some rice was all I got? There is barely any chicken in here? When I ordered Fesenjune months ago I had enough for 3 days. I am very disappointed.

This was our second visit to Orchard and it did not disappoint once again. Firstly, Jason, the manager and server is one of the warmest and most delightful people. His personality made this a terrific experience as much as the food, service, decor and the music playing in the background. We started with his recommendation of the Haleem Bademjune, a super creamy concoction of pureed eggplant and beans that was so tasty and the texture incredibly smooth. The pita accompaniment also could not be tastier. For our main course, he recommended something different, his Persian take on Paella. While my South American wife and I were very suspicious, we went with the recommendation; it was absolutely delicious and a great value as well. All of the various seafood components were cooked perfectly as they should be and the saffron rice in the light seafood sauce was beautiful. We highly recommend trying this restaurant. We will be back again soon.
