On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - Morse Rd

My wife and I have always liked this place but haven't been here for a while. The chips and salsa are very good. The entrees were solid also. Our servers were efficient and very nice but they were understaffed so service was a little slow. We've always liked the atmosphere. This is a good solid chain for Mexican food that we recommend.

After not eating here in a long time, I was pleasantly surprised by the great new options, tasty food, and the great service. The house margarita is right-on. It was nice to have a very attentive waitress. ????

We went on a Friday night at like 8pm, 5 tables were occupied and in one part of the dining room. 5 servers past us, none greeted us till 5 minutes in. Our waitress seemed stressed and had no support for her 2 tables. Granted it was 2 tables, but other servers passed us to bus their tables or chit chat and no one would greet us or offer us at least waters while we waited on drink orders. I used to love on the border as a kid about 10 years ago, the place would be busy and food fantastic. It's not the same anymore. The service staff seemed overwhelmed with few customers, the food was average, drinks too sweet. Overall underwhelming experience and probably will leave the good ole times at on the border to my memories.
